DECEMBER 28ths1925.
The council met in regular session, Mr.
B.F.Sundy, Vice xiayor presiding. Councilmen
Barwick, Evans, and Jelks were present. Councilman
O'Neal was absent.
The minutes of the previous meeting were
read and approved.
It was moved by Mr.Jelks,seconded by bir.
Evans that the city engineer be instructed to establish
the grade on North Swinton Avenue from N.E.4th.St. to
the city limits. The motion was carried.
It was moved by Rir.Barwiek,seconded by Mr.

Evans that the city manager be instructed to order water
pipe for the Swinton Avenue extension to Gulf Stream
Estates as soon as sufficient money is deposited to cover
the cost of the pipe. The motion was parried on roll call.
It was moved by EIr.Evans,seconded 'by<n,~.Barwick
that the pity manager be authorized to purchase another

truck for garbage service. The motion was carried. '`'~
Mr.Dickinson appeared before the council in
regard to liability insurance for the cities trucks, and

the matter was referred to the fire committee.

placed on its first reading. Having first been referred
to the Ordinance Committee the ordinance was referred
back to the council and placed on its first reading;
the ordinance was then read for the first time and in

Florida East Coast Railway Co. to permit the city the
right to cross the Railway right of way with electric
wires at a point 4.056 feet south of mile post 314
was laid before the council. It was regularly moved,
seconded,and carried that said resolution be adopted.
P. similar resolution for the right to cross underneath
the right of way vrith sewer pipe at ~tlantic Avenue was
laid before the council and it was regularly moved,aeconded,
and carried that the said resolution be adopted.
The chair appointed Mr.Jelks, and Mr.Barwiek to act
on the finance committee in place of Mr.O'DTeal and ~?r.Sundt'.
Ourrent bills were referred to the finance committee and
after being audited were referred back to the council and
ordered paid.
It was moved,seconded,and carried that the Mayer and
Clerk be authorized to issue a correction deed on Lot 15,
Block 100 formerly owned by the city. The deed to be issued
for the purpose of correcting a flaw in the title.

It was moved,seconded and carried that the matter of
green fees and yearly membership fees for playing on
the City Golf Course together with the matter of an
Official opening be referred to the following committee:

The following building permits for construction in
the fire zone were granted:-
TN.O.Jelks,addition to 6romer Block in block 101-

O.D.Priest,Store Building, South of Grand Hotel

Equitable Investment Co. -Real Estate Office
Block 108, - $1,000.
The request of Mr.D.J.~orrison was referred
back for further information.
The request for a permit to place a lunch waggon

was refused.
Tt was moved by Mr.Evans,seconded by S~Tr.Barwick
and carried that the city band be allowed 15.00 additional
per concert for the remainder of the season.
The council adjourned.
