A Mr. Steiner representing the banking house of Steiner Brothers, Birmingham, Alabama, appeared. before the. Council and made an offer to ~iurchase the proposed issue of Improvement Bonds by the City ~~ of"Delray. His offer. was to take the entire issue'csr all that remains uncontracted for at the price of ~\ ; 85, or 87 if the City woulddeposit with the house ,~~,r, , ~ ., he represented; or 87 if the Bank of Delray would, °~ make up two points. -' ~~* The offer of Mr. Steiner was discussed at after which it was decided by the Councilmen unanm®~a '. ` ~p that the offer be declined, no record vote being take ~~ There being no further business, the Counci'1 adn~ourned. ~`"' o,.
