AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, ~NDING C~LAPTER 13
"ELECTRICITY" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF DELRAY BEACH BY ~ENDING SECTION 13-4
(f) (2) TO INCREASE PERMIT FEES FOR ROUGH WIRING;
FIXTUF~S; POOLS; EQUIPMENT; A~NDING SECTION
13-4 (f) (4) TO INCREASE MINIMUM FEE; PROVIDING
A SAVING CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 13-4 (f) (2) of the Code of Ordinance of

Section 2. That Section 13-4 (f) (4) of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Delray Beach is hereby amended to read as follows:
(4) No permit will be issued for a fee of less
than two ~o~a~s.~y eene~ ~=~0~ five
($5.00). The fees shall include payment forthe
~ermit and for inspection of the work, after 'the
same shall have been completed. If the_electrical
inspector shall, upon his inspection after
completion of the work or apparatus, find
that the same does not conform to and comply
with the provisions of this chapter, he
shall notify the master electrician, indi-
cating the corrections required and when he
shall be notified that the corrections
have been made, he shall again inspect
%he work or apparatus; but, when extra
inspection trips are necessary, due to.
any one of the follQwing reasons, a
charge of eight dollars shall be made
for each trip:
(a) Condemned work.
(b) Work. or.corrections not ready for inspection
at time specified in the application for
inspection.
(c) Incorrect address being on the application
by action of the applicant.

Section 3. That should any section or provision of this ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a
court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect'
the validity of the remainder hereof, other than the part delcared to be
invalid.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days
after passage on second and final reading.
