AN ORDINANCE OF ~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE' CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF DELFU1Y BEACH CERTAIN LANDS LYING IN SECTIONS 7 AND 8, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST, WHICH LANDS ARE CONTIGUOUS TO EXISTING MUNICIPAL LIM- ITS OF SAID CITY; REDEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY TO INCLUDE SAID LANDS; PROVIDING FOR THE RIGHTS ?~.~D OBLIGATIONS OF S}:ID LANDS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE ZONING THEREOF. ~NHEREAS, Melvin I. Muroff is the fee simple owner of the lands hereinafter described; and., WHEt?EAS, Melvin I. Huroff has peti. tioned and given permission for the annexation of said lands by the city of Delray Beach; and, WtIEREAS, the City of Delray Beach has heretofore been author- ized to annex lands in accordance with Section 185.1 of the City Charter of said City granted to it by the State of Florida; and, %'~-IEREAS, the annexation of these lands hereinafter described in the Pu~-15 Multiple Family ~welling District, has been recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board in action taken at its meeting helot on February 19, 1974. NOW, TiIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T}~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. SECTION 3. Thet the ~ands hereinbefore described are hereby declared to be in Zoning Distr~ct ~4-15 Multiple Family Dwelling District as defined by ex~sting ordinances of the City of Delray Beach, Florida. SECTION 4. That the lan~s hereinbefore described shall i~e- diately becoma subject to all of the franchises, privileges, i~uni- t~es, debts, obligations, l~ab~l~t{es, ordinances and laws to which , lands in the City of Delray Beach are now or may be, and persons residing thereon shall be deemed citizens of the City of Delray Beach.
