The regular meeting of the Town Council was called to
order by Mayor Seott, 3k 8 O'Cloek P.F with the following
members present.
T.Y.Oneal A.D.Burk S.H.Allen
U Absent T.J.Williamson L.L.Barwiek
iiinutes of the previous meeting read and approved.
A Committee from the Ladies Improvement Assen,
composed of hadams Lot Smoth Copeland and Repp were present
to eonfur with the Council in refferanee to the needed
repairs and attention to our somewhat neglected Cemetary.
O 1`rs Smith as chairmen of the Committee spoke at length
takeing up in detail,the needed repairs,and conditions

of the Lots, and urgeing among other things the need of
a rock road from Swinton Ave direct the Cemetary.
Mrs Smith also refered to tha proposition and advisability
of es.tabli ink►c"al.more, ^convenient Cemetary on the Dixie
Highway North of the Town,where prpoperty had been offered
for the purpose at a reasonable price.

The matter was refered

to the Committee on Cemetary.
Mr L.R.Barney was present and addressed the Council in
regards to Tax Sale Certificated due on his property.
Motion by S.H.Allen and supported by A.D.Burk that the
Tax CIlleator may accept $100.00 as payment in full for
the following TAX SALE CERTIFICATES. Nos,45.44.50.51.

The matter of traffic posts was taken up and a Notion by
S.H.Allen suppoted by A.D.Burk that the Street Committee
have signes placed on the Post-.-bt the Corners of Atlantic
and Swinton Aves, And Atlantic and Baftnton Aves showing
the Dixie Highway. Rpll Call
