AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRA¥ BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING
LAND PRESENTLY ZONED RM-15 MULTIPLE FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT IN "C-1 LIMITED COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT", AN AREA LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF
U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 1 BETWEEN N.E. 8TH STREET AND
BOND WAY, BEING ALL THAT PORTION OF LOT 4 IN
SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8, PAGE 40, PUBLIC RECORDS
OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND AMENDING
"ZONING MAP OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1972".
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has recommended rezoning
and placing land presently zoned RM-15 Multiple Family Dwelling Dis-
trict in "C-1 Limited Commercial District"; and,
WHEREAS, the City Administration concurs in said recommendation;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
has determined that such change should be made,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property in the City of
Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the "C-1
Limited Commercial District" as defined by Chapter 29 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, to-wit:
All of that portion of Lot 4 of the Subdivision of Section
9, Township 46 South, Range 43 East, plat of which is re-
corded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court,
Palm Beach County, Florida, in Plat Book 8, Page 40; said
portion of Lot 4 being bounded on the West by the center
line of U.S. Highway No. 1 and bounded on the East by the
center line of N.E. 7th Avenue, as shown upon the Plat of
Sophia Frey Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 37,
if extended northward.
Section 2. That the Planning Directors of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this Ordinance, change the Zoning Map of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1 hereof.

on this the 25th day of November , 1974.
