Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach the Mayor has instructed me to
announce a Special Meeting of the City Commission to be held for the following purposes:
SP.1.
The Special City Commission Meeting was called to order at 1:45 p.m.
The roll call was taken by Katerri Johnson, City Clerk, and the following
were present.
Present 5 - Mayor Shelly Petrolia, Vice Mayor Shirley Ervin Johnson, Deputy Vice Mayor Adam
Frankel, Commissioner Ryan Boylston, and Commissioner Juli Casale
Others Present Were:
Lynn Gelin, City Attorney
Jennifer Alvarez, Interim City Manager
Katerri Johnson, City Clerk
Lynn Gelin, City Attorney, stated for the record that Commissioner Casale
is appearing at the meeting virtually. She explained that if there is a
physical quorum and consensus it is permitted by the city’s local rules.
There was consensus to allow Commissioner Casale to attend the
meeting virtually.
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH AND TERRENCE R. MOORE

Recommendation:Staff recommends approval of the Employment Agreement between the
City of Delray Beach and Terrence R. Moore.

Attachments:
Lynn Gelin, City Attorney, explained the city’s negotiation process with
Terrence Moore. She informed the Commission about his start date,
performance evaluation, salary, and benefits listed within the agreement for
the City Manager position.
Deputy Vice Mayor Frankel made a motion to approve the employment
agreement for Terrence Moore. It was seconded by Vice Mayor Johnson.
The motion carried by the following vote:

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 4:49
