AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION
3-10, CHAPTER 3 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THIS CITY BY ADDING SUBSECTION (O) AMENDING
HEIGHT OF SIGN REGULATIONS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3-10, Chapter 3 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City be and the same is hereby amended by
adding Subsection (o) to read as follows:
"(o) Height of Signs. No pole sign or ground
sign shall be erected or altered to a height
exceeding twenty-five (25) feet above the
finished grade."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect im-
mediately upon its passage and approval as provided by law.
PASSED in regular session on the second and final read-
ing on the day of , 1966.

FROM THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD
Gentlem~n:
At the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning
Board held in the Council Chambers on September 20th,
1966 the Board considered a proposed amendment to
Section 3-10 of the city code of ordinances pertaining
to signs.
After review of this amendment and it's effect on the
city in genera], the Board unanimously recommends that
the ordinance be amended by adding Paragraph O. to
Section 3-10 as described:
O. Height of Slgms, No pole sign or ground sign
shall be erected or altered to a height
exceeding twenty-five (26) feet above the
finished grade.
