18-65 ORDINANCE NO. 18-65. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 4-7, CHAPTER 4, CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY PERTAINING TO THE LOCATION OF ESTABLISNMENTS WHICH ARE PERMITTED TO SELL INTOXICATING BEVERAGES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, AS FOLLOWS: Section 4-7, Chapter 4, Code of Ordinances of this City, be, and the same is hereby amended, as follows: SECTION 1. The phrase "In that portion of above territory lying west of the intracoastal canal", be, and the same is hereby stricken and deleted. SECTION 2. This amendment shall not apply to nor prejudice any rights presently existing in any person, firm or corporation, where such rights have been acquired by virtue of prior Council aDproval as to location east of the intracoastal canal, whether such establishment is presently operating or not. Neither shall it apply to assigns or grantees of any license to operate at any such establish- ment heretofore approved. SECTION 3. Should any section or provision of this ordinance or any portion thereof, or any 9aragraDh, sentence or word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the Dart declared to be invalid.
