No. 129-24RESOLUTION NO.129-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH,FLORIDA,APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER UTILIZING BUYBOARD CONTRACT NO. 650-21 TO PURCHASE A MEDIUM DUTY RESCUE AMBULANCE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE ANY AND ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS,the City of Delray Beach ("City")is authorized to enter into agreements to provide services,programming,and products in accordance with its Charter;and WHEREAS,BuyBoard administers a Cooperative Purchasing Program wherein it performs the solicitation for a multitude of products and administers the resulting contracts;and WHEREAS,contracts solicited by Buy Board are accessible to public schools,municipalities, and other governmental entities in all states;and WHEREAS,BuyBoard issued Request for Proposal (RFP)No.650-21 to obtain vendors for ambulances;and WHEREAS,Frazer,Ltd.is one of the vendors awarded the contract under Buy Board RFP No. 650-21;and WHEREAS,the City desires to issue a purchase order to Frazer,Ltd.utilizing Buy Board Contract No.650-21 to purchase a Frazer Medium Duty Rescue Ambulance;and WHEREAS,the City authorized the funds to pay certain costs of such Capital Expenditures in Resolution No.197-23,attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". WHEREAS,the City Commission deems approval of this Resolution to be in the best interest of the health,safety,and welfare of the residents and citizens of the City of Delray Beach and the public at large. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH,FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS: Section I.The foregoing recitals are hereby affirmed and ratified.
