AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY 0F DELR~Y BE4CH, FLORIDA, M~KING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO DRIVE OR OPERATE AN ALF2OMOBILE CON- VERTED TO OPERATE ON R~ILROAD TRACKS .AT A SPEED IN EXCESS OF TWENTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS. WHEREAS, it is necessary to the safety, health, life and welfare of the inhabitants of this City that the speed of certain automobiles converted to operate on rail- road tracks (also known as "high-railers") be regulated in order to help prevent imminent danger to the safety of said inhabitants; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 0RD~INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELR~Y BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or operate an automobile converted to operate on railroad tracks at s speed in excess of twenty-five miles per hour within the corporate limits. Section 2. Any person who shall violate this Ordinance, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than $500.00 or imprisoned in the city Jail not exceeding sixty (60) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
