Ord G-307(05-59) ORDINANCE G-307 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: AP~NDING SECTIONS 6-5 AND 4-7 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, TO PROVIDE FOR THE SALE OF LIQUOR IN ','THE WEST 1/2 OF BLOCK 82 OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA ow IT O~DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, · LORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Section 6-5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Delrsy Beach, Florida_, be amended by adding the following provision, to-wit: ~'And also except theft portion of the City of Delrsy Beach, Florida, described ~s follows, to-wit: '~ The West 1/2 of Block 82 of the City of Delray Beach, Florida. ~' Section 2: That Section 4.-7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Deiray Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "No intoxicating liquors shall be sold in any pl,~ce of business or establishment in the ~.bove described territory unless the main entrance to said place of business or establish- ment is located on Atl,~ntic Avenue or on the Ocean Boulevard or on N. E. Sth Street or on 6th Avenue (Federal Highway} or on N. E. 2nd Avenue between N. E. 2nd Street and N. E. 3rd Street) of the City of Detray Be~ch, Florida. In that portion of the" ~bove territory lying west of the ' ~- ~ lRo!~q. CO,~St~] c~nal, not iilore than one such place of business or es%abl_snment shall be licensed within any one block. After such license has been issued for conducting such place of business or establishment in ~ny one block on either Atl~.ntic Avenue or N. E. 8th Street or 6th Avenue (Federal Highway) or on N. E. 2nd Avenue {,,between N. E. 2nd Street and N. E. 3rd Street of the City of Delr~y Beach, Florida, no license shall be issued for the sale of intoxicating liquor in any p!~ce of business or ~s~ablishmen-t in the block immediately across on either Atlant, ic Avenue or N. E. 8th Street or on 6th Avenue (Federal Highway) or on N. E. 2nd Avenue between N. E. 2nd Street and N. E. Srd Street in the City o£ Delray Beach, Florida, from the block in which in- toxicating liquor has already been licensed. No intoxicating liquor shall be sold in the abo~e described territory at any place of business, location, or establishment within 800 feet of any estsblished school or church."
