Ord G-180(27-53) ORDINANCE NO.. G-180 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DEERAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 19, AS AMENDED, GF CHAPTER VIII OF THE CITY CODE OF DRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, BT PROVIDING AND REGbT~ATING THE ND~ER OF LIQUOR LICENSES PER BLOCK AND REGULATING ENTRANCES FOR RESTAURANT AND HOTEL LICENSES ~ ISSDED. RE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF D~Y B~ACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Section 19, as amended, Chapter VIII of the City Code of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "~E~T!ON 19~; No intoxicating liquors shall be sold in any place of business or establishment in the above described territory unless the main entrance to said place of business or establishment is located on Atlantic Avenue or on the Ocean Boulevard or on N.E. 8th Street, or on 6th Avenue (Federal Highway); and further provided, in the event application for liquor license hereafter be made for a bar or package store to sell intoxicating liquors in any hotel or restaurant conforming to the requirements of Section 561.20 (2), Florida Statutes, 1953 (which provides for non-quota liquor licenses), within the above territory, no license shall be issued unless access to such bar or package store shall be through the main lobby of the hotel or restaurant, and such bar or package store shall be operated within the confines of such hotel or restaurant and not be visible from any street or public thoroughfare. In that portion of the above territory, not more than one such place of business or establishment shall be licensed within any one block. After such license has been issued for conducting such place of business or establishment in any one block on either Atlantic Avenue or N.E. 8th Street or 6th Avenue (Federal Highway), no license shall be issued for the sale of in- toxicating liquor in any place of business or establishment in the block t~mediately across on either Atlantic Aven~e or on N.E. Sth Street, or on 6th Avenue (Federal Highway) from the block wherein the sale of intoxicating liquor has already been licensed. No intoxicating liquor shall be sold in the above described territory at any place or business, location or establishment within 300 feet of an established school or church." (1) S,ection 2; That all ordinances and parts o£ ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
