NOW~ TT~EF0~ ~ iT O~A~D BY T]-~ CI~ COL~fCiL OF T~ CITY 0F D~Y B~i~CH, ~OR~A, AS FOi~LOWS: ~CTION !: That Section 1, Chapter V of 4he City code of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section t: That a primary election to nominate candidates for the office of City Co~ci~an shall be held two weeks before the first ~esday in December of this year and each year thereafter. Such Primam/ election shall be held at such place or places in the City of Delray Beach, Florida as may be desi~ated by the proclamation of the l~fayor, calling said election on the date specified bei~.~een the hours of 7:00 A.!~'~. and 7:00 P.~i. SECTION 2: ' ~ Tn~s is an emergency ordinance and ~a!! tahe effect upon its passage on firsq and final reading.
