Ord G-71(07-49) ORDINANCE NO. G-71 AN ORDINANCE 0F THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 8 OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE CITY CODE OF SAID CITY PERTAINING TO APPLICATIONS FOR INTOXICATING LIQUORS, ~WINES, AND/OR BEERS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 8, of Chapter 8 of the City Code of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 8: Upon receipt of such application, which shall be filed with the CityCouncil for a period of not less than thirty (50) days, as herelnabove pro- vided for and the approval thereof by the aforesaid Mayor and City Council, and upon the payment of the license fee hereinabove provided for, the City Clerk of said City shall issue to the person, associatien of persons or corporation, making such applicatien and paying such license fee, a license signed by said CityClerk which license shall bear the date ef its issuance, the amount of tax paid, the name ef the licensee, said licensee's place of business, and said license shall also recite that the same will expire on the 80th day of September next succeeding the date of its issuance unless revoked by the City Council of the aforesaid city; that such license is revocable by the City Council of said City upon suf- ficient cause appearing of the violation by any licensee of the laws of the United State of America, the state of Florida or the Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach, for maintaining a nuisance or unsanitary premises or for engaging in or permitting disorderly conduct on the premises; that such license does not authorize, empower or permit such person, association of persons or corporation to engage in or carry on such business or businesses within one hundred yards (100 yds.) Of the campus of any public school within said city, and that such licensee is prohibited from sellingor permitting to be sold, delivering or permitting to be delivered to any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years any such beverages."
