AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING AND LIMITIN~
THE TERRITORY I~ WHICH INTOXICATING LIQUORS MAY
BE SOLD IN TYE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1. No intoxicating liquors shall be sold in that portion of the
C~.ty of Delray Beach, Florida, lying east of the right-of-way
of the Seaboard Air Line Railway, as the same is now located in the City of
Delray Beach, Florida, except in that portion of said territory described as
follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point or the East boundary of the Right-of-Way of
the Seaboard Air Line Railway 173 feet North of the center line of
Atlantic Avenue for a point of beginning; thence running East parallel
to and 173 feet North of the center line of Atlantic Avenue to the East
boundary of Swinton Avenue, thence running North along the East boundary
of Swinton Avenue to a point 283 feet North of the center line of Atlantic
Avenue; thence ~mning East p~rallel to and 2 83 feet from the center line of
A~lantic Avenue to the West boundary of the Right-of-Way of the Florida Intra-
Coastal Canal; thence running South along the West boundary of the Right-of-
Way of the Florida Intra-Coastal canal to a point 283 feet South of the center
line of Atlantic Avenue; thence running West parallel to and 283 feet from
the center line of Atlantic Avenue to the East boundary of Swinton Avenue;
thence running North along the East boundary of Swinton Avenue to a point
173 feet So~th of the center line of Atla~tic Avenue; thence running West
parallel to and 173 feet from the center line of Atlantic Avenue to the East
boundary of the Right-of-Way of the Seaboard Air Line Railway, as the same
is now located in the City of Delray Beach, Wlorida; thence running North
along the East boundary of said Right-of-Way of the Seaboard Air Line Railway
to the point of beginning:
and also, except that portion of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West bo~n~dary of the Ocean Boulevard
feet North of the center line of Atlantic Avenue; thence West a distance
of 100 feet; then, e Southerly parallel to the West boundary of the Ocean
Boulevard to a point 318 feet North of the center line of Atlantic Avenue;
thence West to the East Right-of-way line of the Florida Intra-Coastal Canal;
thence Southerly along the East Right-of-way line of the Florida Intra-
Coastsl Canal to a point 318 feet South of the center line of Atlantic Avenue;
thence East to a point 100 feet West of the West boundary of the Oceah Boulevard;
thence Southerly parallel to the West boundary of the Ocean Boulevard to a
point 333 feet South of the center line of Atlantic Avenue; tLence East to
the West boundary of the Ocean Boulevard; thence Northerly along the West
boundary of Ocean Boulevard to the point of beginning:
and also, except that portion of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, described
as follows, to-wit:
The North 395 feet of the North 1395 feet of Section 21, Township &6
South, Range &3 East, lying East of the West Right-of-Way line of State
Road #1AO (the Ocean Boulevard); ~-
SECTION 2. Section i of this Ordinance shall become a part of the City
Code of the City of DolraM Beach, Florida, and shall b~ in-
serted therein in lieu of Section 17, Chapter VIII of said Code.
