The Council met on the Dell of the Mayor as
per eld~ournment from February 12th.
The Mayor being absent 2dIr. Eeen, President of

;the Council presided.
Councilmen Ranson, Scott, and Sundy were pres-
'gent. Councilman Malone was absent.
iSr. Ranson offered an ordinance entitled:
'" An Ordinance Making Assessments Against Property in the
;City of Delray, Florida, to Cover the Cost of Paving Certain
;Streets in Said City Abutting Said Property", and moved its
reference to the Committee on Ordinances.

The ordinance submitted having been referred to
:the Committee on Ordinances by unanimous vote it was, after
.consideration by that committee, reported back to the
',.Council with the recommendation that it be placed- on its
first reading. By unanimous vote the ordinance was orrkered
read a first time in full, and it was so read.
Mr. Scott, Chairman of -the Ordinance Committee,
'asked unanimous consent that the rules be suspended and
~Ithat the ordinance be read a second time, and by caption
only. Unanimous consent having been given-the rules were
suspended and by unanimous vote the ordinance was ordered
read a second time and by caption only, and the ordinance
was read by caption as follows:
