04-10-23 Adjourned Regular Council Chamber April 10, 1923. ~ The @louncil met in adjourned regular ses- ' ';sion, the Pdayor presiding. Councilmen P,-lalone, Keen, Ranson, Scott, 'and Sandy vrere present. I The minutes of the previous meeting were !read and approved. Fire Engine ! The Clerk reported to the Council that a contract signed. 'contract had been. signed vrith the American LaFrance Fire Engine Company, Inc. as directed at the last ,session o£ the Council. The Clerk laid before the Council current bills which on motion of Mr. Keen were referred to the ;Finance Committee. After consideration the bills were (reported back to the Council with the recommendation ,that they be paid and on roll call the bills were ordered paid by unanimous vote o£ the Council. -Methods of sanitation and the disposal of (garbage and waste were discussed by Drs. Cason and Webb, Judge Ellis, and Tulr. The motion prevailed by unanimous vote. of City Clerk Mr. Scott, for the committee on ordinances, reported the proposed amendment back to the Council with the recommendation that it be read a first time land in full.
