The Clerk laid before the Council a commmiication I
from :~. 0. Greynolds with reference to oiling the paved
streets.

After discussion of the puroort o£ P:!r. Greyx161d~s
communication on motion of.LZr. Ranson, seconded by Tr.
Scott, the Clerk cvas directed to prepare specifications
and ask £or bids £or oilint> the streets constructed by
Gerynolds ~ Monroe during the year 1922. 'ihe motion was
adopted by unanimous vote of the Council.
A motion by A:Tr. Scott, seconded by LSr. Ranson
directed the Clerk to call to the attention of the Florida
East Coast Railway officials the fact that the city was
in position to furnish the company v~ith water for its train ~.
service.

On motion a£ P;Sr. Scott, seconded by Tar. Hanson,
current bills submitted by the Clerk were referr®d to tY~e

ordered paid by unanimous vote of the Council.
i:r. Troup, Sanitary Officer, made a verbal re- ~
port on the ti~rork of having the city cleaned-up, and having
acted under previous instructions of the Council submitted ~
a report covering his ®P~orts Lo secure proper dumping
ground for the city. He was instructed to have the Board
of Health pass on the advisability o£ acquiring title to

a tract of five acres nahich could be acquired for the
sun o~f ~j250.00.
