08-28-230 Council Chamber 6ugnst 28, 1923. The Council met pursuant to adfournment, the Mayor presiding. Councilmen Keen, Malone, Soott, and ,Sandy were present. Councilman Ranson was absent. The Clerk laid before the Council the applica- ion of the Ocean City Lumber Company for permit for per- mit to cover the building erected for the Delray News ,on lot 23, block 92, the and stucco construction with Building ,felt roof mopped on, costing ~ 1600.00; O'Neal's Garage, Permits. by T. M. O'Neal filed application for permit to install a gasoline filling station in front of lot 9, block 84, ..estimated cost X50.00; L. H. Walker filed applioation .for permit to erect a double store building, two stories, solid the wall with built-up composition roof, estima- ted cost ~ 8600.00, for Rawls & Fisher, on lot 1, block ;100; L. H. Walker filed applioation for permit to erect 'Theatre Building with open roof on lot 8, block 100, con- strnction to be of hollow tile, concrete and stone, with asphalt roof overlaid., dimensions of building 40' % 94', 'estimated coat $ 22,~g0.00. Scott, Current Bills;bills laid before the Council by the Clerk, were referred Ito the Finanoe Committee, After being anddted the several ills were reported back to the Council with the recom- endation that they be paid, and on roll call the bil ~ is i~o were ordered paid by unanimous vote.
