Council Chambers
October 5, 1922.
The Council met in adjourned regular session,

the Mayor presiding.
I Councilmen Jacobs, Keen, Ranson, Scott and

Bundy were present.
A motion by Mr. Jacobs, Seconded by Mr. Ranson,
Idirecting the Clerk to notify Greynolds 8e Monroe, Inc.,
street paving contractors, that they are not permitted to
take sand from the street to be used for sanding purposes,
and that they must fill the holes which have heretofore
been madq by.the removal of sand in the progress of their
work, was adopted by unanimous vote.
A motion by M'r. Keen, seconded by Mr. Scott,
that the ballot bog containing the ballots cast at the
annual election for city officers on the 3rd be opened
and the vote canvassed was adopted by unanimous vote.
A motion by Mr. Scott, seconded by Mr. Jacobs.:
that the returns of the election inspectors be accepted
was adopted by unanimous vote.
The returns of the inspectors showed as follows

A motion by Mr. Jacobs, seconded by Mr. Seen,
that as J. S. Sundy is shown by the returns to have re-
ceived a nWjority of the votes cast for Mayor he is hereby
declared elected to the office of Mayor, was adopted by
unanimous vote.
A motion by Mr. Jacobs, seconded by Mr. Keen,
that as it is shown by the returns of.the inspectors that }

L. F. Ranson and E. V. Malone received the highest number m
of votes cast for Councilmen, they are hereby declared
elected as Councilmen for a term of two yearsq was adop-
ted by unanimous vote.
A motion by Mr. Jacobs, seconded by Mr. Keen,

that as J. S. Wuepper is shown by the returns of the
inspectors to have received a majority of the votes
cast for Bond Trustee that he be and is hereby declared
elected as Bond Trustee for a term of Three Years was
adopted by unanimous vote.
Fire Marshall 0. Helland submitted a report
covering his activities as such officer and special po-
lice officer for the fiscal year ended September 30 which,
on motion of Mr. Keen,was accepted, and a vote of thanks
of the Council was given officer Helland in appreciation
if his services.
motion that the Council adjourn sine die was
adopted by unanimous vote.

Mayor.
The oath of office was administered to Mayor-
elect J. S. Sundy by the City Clerk.
The Mayor called the Council to order, with
Councilmen Keen, Scott, and Sundy present.
The oath of office was administered to L. F.
Ranson and E. V. Malone, councilmen- elect, by the Mayor.
The Mayor reappointed 0. Helland as Fire
and special police officer, and administered to
the oath of office.
On motion of Mr. Keen the Council adjourned.
