BE iT ORDA/NED By the City Council of the City of Delray
Beach, Florida, as follows:
/ SECTION 1.
No person shall operate any motor vehicle upon the streets
or other public thoroughfares of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
unless such person shall be duly licensedby the State of Florida
or by some other state, district or country to operate such
motor vehicle and unless such person has in his or her possession
" an unexpired and uncancelled driver's license issued by the ~tate
L.. of Florida or such other state, district or country granting to
"~ such person the privilege of operating a motor vehicle. This
ordinance shall not apply to the following:
(1) An operator in the army, navy or marine corps of the
United States of ~erica while driving an official car.
(2) An operator of any road machine, farm tractor or
machine temporarily operated or moved on the thoroughfares of
this city.
(3) A non-resident of the State of Florida who is a resi-
dent of a state which does not require a driver's license for the
operation of motor vehicles in said state and whose motor vehicle
is registered in and licensed by said state.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances insofar as the
same are in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
