Petitions of candidates to be placed on the oYficial ballot of Oct. b, 1915, were checked up by the registration book and it was found that the Yellowing had the required number oY names: Name oY Candidate. Carried. ~ Motion by H. J. Starling, seconded by S. E. !O'Neal, that the ordinance declaring the intention oY ,the city to apnea Osceola Park by laid over to the Yirst regular meeting in October. Motion Lost. Motion by J. R. Cason, Jr., seconded by L. H. re} s Bradshaw, That the ordinance declaring the intention by 'the city to annex Osceola Park be placed on its second reading and final passage. Carried. Ordinance was read by the clerk as Follows: An Ordinance Declaring the Intention of The Town of Delray to Change its Territorial Limits by the Annexation of the Sub-Division known as Osceola Park, a Tract oY Unincorporated Territory Lying Contiguous to said Town and Containing Less than Ten i?egistered Voters. Whereas a petition has been presented to the Town Council by certain resident property owners oY the territory known as Osceola Park, requesting that said territory be included in the corporate limits of the Sown of Delray. And whereas said territory is an unincorpora- tad tract of land lying contiguous to down of Delray, in the same county, and containing less than ten re- gistered voters. And whereas it is desirable that the territo- riel limits oP The Town of Delray, bye changed by an- vexing said tract of land: Be it Ordained by the Town Council oY the Town of Delray, Florida: That it is the intention of the Town of Delray to annex tor.said Town, at the expiration of thirty days fro^ the approval of this ordinance, said traot of land lying contiguou`~ to the southern boundary of said Town of Delray, contalning fifteen blocks, numbered from one to fifteen respectivly, and bounded as follows: Beginning on the hest bank of the Florida Coast Line canal, at the center of Watson i street', thence west along the center of watson street " to the land of the Florida Nast Coast Railway, thence i southwesterly along said Railway to Rouseau street, thence east along the center of Rouseau street to Aitken street, thence north along the center of Aitken street to MacNeilly street, thence along the center of MacNeilly street to Boynton street, thence north along Boynton street about three hundred and thirty feet, thence east along the southern boundary of Block 13 to said canal, thence north along said canal to place of beginning, according to a plat of Osceola Park on Pile with the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Palm Beach County. Be it further ordained that a copy of this ordinance be published once a week for four consecutive weeks in the Delray Progress, a newspaper published in the Town of Delray. Motion by J. ~. Carried. Motion by J. R. Cason, Jr., seconded by L. H. Bradshaw, That the following tax levy be made for the ensuing year: Bonds, sinking fund and interest on same 25 Mills, Current expenses and debts 10 Outstanding debts and interest 5 Total 40 Mills. Carried. Dr. J. R. Cason, Jr. presented his resignation as Town Health Officer, explaining that dt the time the office was created there wea no other physician in the tows. Motion b9 Z. H. Bradshaw, seconded by S. E. O'Neal, That Dr. Csaon's resignation be accepted with the understanding that Dr. Cason preform the duties of the office until his successor is apointed. Carried. Motion by J. R. Cason, Jr., seconded by Z. i H. Bradshaw, That the clerk be instructed. to write the Eureka Fire Hose Mfg. Co. of New York, that the town ie ready to pay the interest on war~~ent No. 63 given as a note and ask that the same be extended for twelve months. Carried. Motion by J. R. Cason, Jr., seconded by Z. H. Bradshaw, That the Bill of Hudson, ~6olfe and Cason for X10 be paid. Carried. Councilman Sterling dissenting. Mr. Robert Rhoden addressed the council in regard to the seats in front of his afore, explaining i that ,they were of great convenience to him. The council decided t© leave the seats unless they become e nuisance. Motion by J. R. Cason, Jr., seconded by S. E. O'Neal, That the following be appointed on the election boe$d for Oct. 5, 1915: Inspectors, J. B. R1ce, A. F, xristoffereon, T. M. MacRae; Clerk, Zee Miner. harried. Motion by J. R.
