04-13-14 RegularDelray, Fla., April l~, 1914. The regular meeting of the City Council was held on the ~ above dste and was called to order, by Pres. J. R. Cason Jr. Roll call showed the following members present: Pres. J. R. Cason Jr ., G. J. Strickland, L. H, Bradshaw and T. G. Fenno. Absent T, McRae. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Letters from J. B. heCrar~; £c Co. in-regard to Electric Zights and water works were read and discussed. fib bAction by bor. Strickland and seccr..ded b~ *,4r. Fenno that the Clerk be instructed to trite J. B. McCrary & CO. Informing them that it is the vnanimeua wish of the " Tovrr. Council to have a X20,000.00 bond issue instead of ~~ X17,000.00 issue, in case that it will not necessitate too a 2,iuch delay, also sending J. B. ?iaCrary & CO. a copy of (~(:~~ ordinance providing for the assessment, levy and ;collection of taxes in the Towxx of Delray, Florida.) asking ;them for legal advise as to wh.6ther or not the assessment `books can. be closed auoner than July 1st.
