i The reUular meeting of the City Council was held on the abo¢edate and
!was called to order at 8 o'clock by the president J R Cason.
Roll call showed the following members present ~ J R Cason, T xiPS¢Rae,=~;
IL H Bradshaw, G J Strickland, G J Fenno. Absent none.
' Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved,
The report of committees was then called for.

A motion by Mr Fenno seconded by Mr Stricsklandthat the clerk be instruct-<;
'ed to order ballots printed with the names of Mr Crego to serve as Bond
.;;Seater for one year and Mr Chatfield for three years.

Bills for the month of May were then read by the Clerk as followse

Bills reported back from Finance committee approved.
Motion by Mr Fenno seconded byc Mr Bradshaw that the clerk be inatruoted
issue warrants to pay bills approved,

j G H Green then addressed the council in referrenae to an appropriation
ffrom the city to help rock the streets in Colored Town and outlined the
streets which they wanted rocked, namely aommenc°:ng at the corner of Beatty
~nd rtlantia aIIenue then north bL Beatty Stsdieto Miller Street, then webt
pn Miller Street to Blackmer Street, then north on Blaclaner Street to Thoma
Street then east on Thomas Street to Bowers Street. The same being the rouit
'for the proposed Electric light lines
The abAve question was thoroughly discussed by the council.
A motion by Mr Bradshaw and seconded by Lir Strickland that when the
Delray Improve-nnet association will have appropiated X00 for attest improv
went in colored town, and the colored citizens harve subscribed not leas th
X200 in momey and labor, that the town of Delray issues Ste warrant for X15
for same purpose. Votes for Yeas a$d Nays takes as follows:
