Clerk also presented petition of J. S. Grant for member
of the council but stated that he had been advised Ir. Grant
had nothing to do with tYae petition, did not want the office
and would not qualify if elected.

t~-ng as stated by the Glerk, the petition of J. S. Grant be
placed on the table. Carried.

the petitions of J. M. Cromer and A. F. A~tiller having the
• names of 25 or more qualified voters thereon, and meeting
all the requirements of the law, that their names be placed `a

for the municipal election to be held Cetober 7th, 1913, as
candidates for ithmbers of the town cousicil. Carried.
PrTotion that Clerk be instructed to see that the ballot
for the coming election is properly prepared, submitted to
the attorney for instection, and that a sufficient number
are printed for nse ~t the elution, as prescribed by law.
