Moved by Ald. Cason, seoonded by Ald. VCt~epper, that
Ald. Acton cot as President pro tem. Carried.
Minutes of leant regular and ad~ouraed meetings road
and approved. `
Clerk read letters from the F. E. C. Ry. Co. regarding
itheir taxes in the Town.
Moved and seoonded that reports and bills be referred
;to the Finance Committee. Carried.
Clerk reports all bills approved and reports accepted
by Finance Committee.
Motion by Ald. Cason, seoonded by Ald. '.7nepper, that
~ ;reports be acapeted and bills paid as approved. Carried.
Messrs. Nelson k Dodd, address the meeting regarding t~
';payment of oocupation taxes and request that the law regards
:.ing same be enPoreed.

Meeting called to order at nine fifteen bj Clerk Black-
mer.
Mayor Sandy being in attendance reports having taken
the oath of office, same having been administered by an
officer of the State and also having administerd the oath
of office to the neiely elected Marshal, Clark and the new
board of aldermen.
The Board having gnalidief the clerk announced that
nominations for president were in order.
Nominations, Thos. M. McRae.
Moved and seconded that the ndminationa be closed,
Carried.
Roll call for ballot, A1ds.Aeton, Yea.
Ald. Cason, Yea.
Ald. Wuepper, Yea.
Carried unanimously.
Moved and aeoonded that Ald. Cation sot as Prea. Pro
Tem. Carried.
Moved by Ald. Acton, aeoonded by Ald. Strickland, that
the Clerk be instructed to purchase six ohairer for nee ix
the Council Chamber. Carried. t
