AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION FOUR OF AN ORDINANCE
"]'~GULATING THE PLATTING AND SUBDIVIDING OF LAND IN THE CITY
0~ DELRA¥ BEACH, FLOHIDA, AND THE FILING OF PLATS THEREOF";
SAID ORDINANCE PASSED F~BRUARY 9, 1925; AND DECLARING AN
AI~RGENCY TO EXIST.
WHEREAS, the City Council has been requested to
amexd the above mentioned ordinance, so that a plat may be
filed with streets less than Fifty feet (~0') in width immed-
iately; that actual improvements of the lands to be platted
can be commenced, and the City Council deems an emergency to
exist, and that this ordinance be introduced and passed as an
emergency measure, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRA~~ BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 4 of an ordinance regulating
the pl~tting and subdividing of land in the City of Delray
Beach, Florida, and the filing of plats thereof passed by the
City Comncil on February 9, 1925 be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. As a minimum requirement for streets,
avenues and sidewalks the pla$ shall dedicate such streets,
avenues or ways in width as shall in the descretion of the
City Couacil be necessary to adequately care for traffic,
within the land or lands to be platted."
SECTION E~ That this ordinance ~hall become effect-
ive as of ~anuary 10, 19~0~
SECTION 8. That all ordinances, or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealede
SECTION 4. That an emergency is hereby declared
to exist.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Delray
Beach, Florida, at its regularsession sitting on this 10th
day of January, A.D. 1938, by the following vote: Foote,
ltall~ ; Hill, ; Gwynn, ~ and Wodischek,
the same being a four-fifths vote, thereby allowing this
ordinance to be effective immediately, as an emergency
