Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. It shall be the duty of She occupant ~of
any bUilding 'to eolleet and r~move daily, to a pla~e eonven-
ien~~ for eity garbage wagons, empty boxes, barrels, rubbish~
trash, waste paper, exeelsior or other like combustible
materials.
SECTION 2e No person or persons shall be allowed
pla~e ashes within any building in any box, barrel or
wooden ves.s, el or upon any wooden vessel or floor.
SECTION Z. l.{o person shall keep or l~,rmll~ to be
kept on the premises~ any Oily waste or oily rags, ttUless
at all times when not aetually in use, such oily waste a~d
oily rags be kept in a metal ean with self-elosing eo~er
and riveted Joints, standing on metal legs whieh raise the
bottom of the container at least four (4) inehes above the
floor.
SECTION 4. All o~ners or Occupants of buildirgs are
required to permit the Chief of the Fire Department to inspee~
er to have inspected, the, ir buildings or premises to see if
the above is eomplim, d with, and it is hereby made the
of the Chief of the Fire Department t~ make or eause to be
made such inspee~ion ~ez~-ever and wherever they may s~spee$
a violation of the foregoing ordinanee,
SECTION 5~ Any person found guilty of violati~ of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00)
nor more than twenty-five dollars ($E5,00) for eaeh c~fense,
each twenty-four hours or maintenance of prohibited condi-
tions to constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 6, All ordinances or parts of ordinanoes
in conflict with the foregoing are hereby repealede
SEGTIGN ?, This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
