05-10-94SpMtg MAY 10. 1994 A Special Meeting of the City Commission of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, was called to order by Mayor Thomas E. Lynch in the First Floor Conference Room at City Hall at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 10, 1994. Roll call showed: Present - Commissioner Jay Alperin Commissioner Ken Ellingsworth Commissioner David Randolph Commissioner Barbara Smith Mayor Thomas E. Lynch Absent - None Also present were - City Manager David T. Harden and City Attorney Susan A. Ruby Mayor Lynch called the meeting to order and announced that the meeting had been called for the purpose of considering the following: 1. ACCEPTANCE OF DEEDS/GROVES OF DELRAY LTD. Accept Deeds for S.W. 10th Avenue right-of-way from the Groves of Delray Ltd., and approve the release for the agreement with Mr. Glenn Haggerty. Commissioner Ellingsworth moved for acceptance of the deeds, seconded by Dr. Alperin. Upon roll call the Commission voted as follows: Mrs. Smith - Yes; Dr. Alperin - Yes; Mr. Ellingsworth - Yes; Mr. Randolph - Yes; Mayor Lynch - Yes. Said motion passed with a 5 to 0 vote. 2. HANCQ~K SUBDIVISION DEVELOPMENT ORDER: Consider ap- proval of the Hancock Final Order subject to the condition that an application for a special coastal construction permit is made prior to the issuance of a building permit. Commissioner Randolph moved for approval of the Hancock Final Order subject to the conditions as outlined, seconded by Mrs. Smith. Upon roll call the Commission voted as follows: Dr. Alperin - Yes; Mr. Ellingsworth - Yes; Mr. Randolph - Yes; Mayor Lynch - No; Mrs. Smith - Yes. Said motion passed with a 4 to vote. 3. HISTORIC HOME RELOCATION/COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY: Authorize reimbursement of $11,700 received from the County to the Community Redevelopment Agency for demolition savings. Commissioner Smith moved for approval to reimburse the Community Redevelopment Agency $11,700 which represents demoli- tion savings received from the County for the relocation of 2 historic homes to Delray, seconded by Dr. Alperin. Upon roll call the Commission voted as follows: Mr. Ellingsworth - Yes; Mr. Randolph - No; Mayor Lynch - Yes; Mrs. Smith - Yes; Dr. Alperin - Yes. Said motion passed with a 4 to 1 vote.
