06-22-82SpMtg JUNE 22, 1982 A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, was called to order by Mr. Jackel in the Council Cham- bers at City Hall at 11:58 A.M., Tuesday, June 22, 1982. 1. Roll call showed: Present - Council Member Leo A. Blair Council Member Arthur Jackel Council Member Edward L. Perry Absent - Council Member Malcolm T. Bird Mayor Willard V. Young Also present were - City Manager Gordon D. Tiffany, and City Attorney Herbert W.A. Thiele. Upon the absence of Mayor Young and Vice-Mayor Bird, Mr. Jackel took the chair. Mr. Jackel announced that this meeting has been called for the purpose of considering (1) acceptance of the bids for sale of a 1978 - 30' Wellcraft Vessel; and (2) acceptance of the bids for sale of a 1979 - 30' Wellcraft Vessel. The City Attorney reported that the 1979 - 30' Wellcraft Vessel brought a high bid of $25,500, which bid was made by Mr. Eduardo P. Portillo of 8508 N.W. 8th Street, .Miami, Florida and that the 1978 - 30' Wellcraft Vessel brought a high bid of $12,000, which bid was made by Mr. George J. Levien of 20335 W. County Club Drive, North Miami Beach, Florida. Mr. Blair moved to accept the bids from Mr. Portillo and Mr. Levien in the amounts outlined, seconded by Mr. Perry. Said motion passed unanimously. . Mr. Jackel declared the meeting adjourned at 12:02 P.M.
