04-10-81SpMtg APRIL 10, 1981 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, was held in the Council Chambers at 12:00 Noon, Friday, April 10, 1981, with Mayor Leon M. Weekes, presiding and Council members Charlotte G. Durante, and Leo A. Blair, present. City Manager J. Eldon Mariott, City Attorney Roger Saberson and Council members Malcolm T. Bird and James H. Scheifley were absent. Mayor Weekes called the meeting to order and announced that this meeting has been called for the purpose of considering adoption of Resolution No. 26-81, ratifying Resolution Nos. 5 and 6, adopted by the SCRWTD Board on April 8, 1981. 1. Mayor Weekes presented Resolution No. 26-81: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL BOARD, REPRESENTING THE CITIES OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AND BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AS GRANTEES TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR A STEP III GRANT FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE UNDER PUBLIC LAW 92-500 CONSTRUCTION GRANTS PROGRAM - EPA PROJECT NO. C-I20406030. (Copy of Resolution No. 26-81 is on file in the official Resolution Book) Mrs. Durante moved for the adoption of Resolution No. 26-81, seconded by Mr. Blair. Upon roll call Council voted as follows: Mrs. Durante - Yes; Mr. Blair - Yes; Mayor Weekes - Yes. Said motion passed with a 3 to 0 vote. Mayor Weekes declared the meeting adjourned at 12:03 P.M.
