DATE: February 22, 1995
SUBJECT: Citizen On. Patrol (C.O.P.) RESOLUTIONS
Enclosed for your consideration to place on the Commission Agenda
are eight (8) resolutions donating eight (8) police vehicles to the
C.O.P. Program. These vehicles will belong to the associations listed
on the resolutions so the City will not have responsibility for
insurance, upkeep or maintenance of the donated vehicles.
Per my discussion with Michael Wright, the City will assume
responsibility for the cost of transferring all title and interest to
the various associations.
If possible, please place these resolutions on the February 28,
1995 agenda as Michael Wright is looking to formally donate the vehicles
on that date.
Please feel free to contact me, David Junghans or Michael Wright
if you have any questions regarding this matter.
