Res 17-95 RESOLUTION NO. 17-95 A ~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DEL~Y BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO DONATE ONE 1991 FORD CRO~ VICTORIA, V.I.N. #2FACP72G5~177152, MILEAGE 84,746, TO HAI~BEHHX BA~. ~E~AS, the City of Delray Beach, Florida, wishes to donate this former Delray Beach Police vehicle to ~INBE~¥ ~¥ for the pu~ose of crime prevention activities within the City; and ~EREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to assist RAI~ERRX ~Y in their efforts to rid our City of criminal-activity. NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT ~SOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DEL~Y BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of Delray Beach, FlOrida, hereby authorizes and directs the Delray Beach Police Department to donate one (1) 1991 Ford Crown Victoria, V.I.N. #2FACP72G5~177152, to ~I~E~Y ~Y of Delray Beach. ~_~ That the cost of transfer of title shall be borne by the CI~ OF DEL~Y BEACH, FLORIDA. ~ That the terms and conditions contained in the transfer of title between the City of Delray Beach, Florida, and BAI~ERRY BAY as hereinabove named are incorporated herein. RESOLUTIONS Enclosed for your consideration to place on the Commission Agenda are eight (8) resolutions donating eight (8) police vehicles to the C.O.P. Program. These vehicles will belong to the associations listed on the resolutions so the City will not have responsibility for insurance, upkeep or maintenance of the donated vehicles. Per my discussion with Michael Wright, the City will assume responsibility for the cost of transferring all title and interest to the various associations. If possible, please place these resolutions on the February 28, 1995 agenda as Michael Wright is looking to formally donate the vehicles on that date. WHEREAS, the City of Delray Beach, Florida, wishes to donate this former Delray Beach Police vehicle, to the RAINBERRY BAY for the purpose of crime prevention activities within the City; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to assist RAINBERRY BAY in their efforts to rid our City of criminal activity. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
