A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH', FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF
AN EAST-WEST ALLEY LYING WITHIN BLOCK 97, HIGHLAND PARK
SUBDIVISION, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 2, PAGE 79 OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, Harmco, Inc., is the fee-simple owner of Lots 15, 16 and
17, Block 97, Highland Park Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page
79 of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida; and,
WHEREAS, Armand Mouw, President of Harmco, Inc., has made appli-
cation for abandonment of an east-west alley lying within Block 97, High-
land Park Subdivision, as described below; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
finds that its interest in the described property is no longer needed for
the public good and deems it to be in the best interests of the City of
Delray Beach to vacate and abandon said east-west alley in Block 97,
Highland Park Subdivision,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That pursuant to Chapter 166 of the Florida Statutes,
it is hereby determined to vacate and abandon the following described real
pr ope rty:
That part of the alley right-of-way in Block 97, Highland
Park, Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, according
to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2 at page 79 of
the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida, bounded
as follows:
On the North by the South line of Lot 10 of said Block 97;
on the East by the Northerly extension of the East line of
Lot 15 of said Block 97; on the South by the North line of
Lots 15, 16 and 17 of said Block 97; and on the West by
the Northerly extension of the West line of Lot 17 of said
Block 9 7.
Containing 2,114 square feet, more or less.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on this the 8th day of
October, 1985.
