Res 68-84 RESOLUTION NO. 68-84 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF FREDERICK BOULEVARD, LYING BETWEEN AVENUE "L" AND AVENUE "J", AS SHO~ ON THAT PORTION OF THE PLAT OF DEL-RATON PARK, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 14, PAGE 10 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, Frank E. Miller and Charlotte Miller, his wife, are the fee-simple owners of a portion of the Plat of Del-Raton Park, Palm Beach County, Florida, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 14', Page 10 of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida, said portion being bounded as follows: on the North by the centerline of Avenue "J"; on the West by the West right-of-way line of Frederick Boulevard, on the South by the North right-of-way line of Avenue "L", and on the East by the West right-of-way line of Florida Boulevard; and, WHEREAS, Frank E. Miller and Charlotte Miller, his wife, have made application for abandonment of that portion of Frederick Boulevard lying between Avenue "L" and Avenue "J", as shown on that portion of the Plat of Del-Raton Park, as recorded in Plat Book 14, Page 10 of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Delray Beach to vacate and abandon the above-described parcel of land, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That pursuant to Chapter 166 of the Florida Statutes, it is hereby determined to vacate and abandon the following described real property: That portion of Frederick Boulevard lying between Avenue "L" and Avenue "J", as shown on that portion of the Plat of Del-Raton Park, as recorded in Plat Book 14, Page 10 of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida.
