A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY OF
IRREGULAR WIDTH VARYING FROM 17 FEET TO 21 FEET, AND 418
F~-ET IN LENGTH, WITHIN THE TROPIC ISLE TRADING CENTER, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 25, PAGE 35 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS
OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, LOCATED SOUTH OF LINTON
BOULEVARD, BETWEEN DIXIE HIGHWAY AND SOUTH FEDERAL HIGH-
WAY.
%'~EREAS, Joseph Nusrala and Donald DeLuce are the fee-simple
owners of a portion of Tropic Isle Trading Center, according to the Plat
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 35 of the Public Records-'~.of
Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly, TROPIC ISLE TRADING CENTER,
which property is adjacent to the alleyway to be abandoned~ and,
WHEREAS, Joseph Nusrala and Donald DeLuce have made application
for abandonment of the alleyway as described in Section i below~ and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Delray Beach to vacate
and abandon the above-described parcel of land, . j
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS=
Section 1. That pursuant to Chapter 166 of the Florida Statutes
it is hereby determined to vacate and abandon the following described real
property:
A tract of land being a portion of TROPIC ISLE TRADING
CENTER as recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 35 of the Public Records
of Palm Beach County, Florida. Said parcel being more particu-
larly described as follows=
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the aforementioned
plat of TROPIC ISLE TRADING CENTER, thence Easterly along the
North line of said plat, a distance of 175.83 feet to the Point
of Beginning~ thence continue Easterly along the North line of
said plat, a distance of 125.17 feet to a point~ thence Easterly
along the North line which forms an included angle of 180°14e59",
with the last described course, a distance of 291.92 feet to the
Northeast corner of said plat, thence Southerly along the East
line of said Tropic Isle Trading Center and the West right-of-way
line of State Road %5 (U.S.#l) being the arc of a curve concave
to the East, having a radius of 1179.28 feet, an arc length of
12.88 feet to a point~ thence Southerly along the West right-of-
way line of State Roa~ %5 (U.S.~I) being the arc of a curve
concave to the East, having a radius of 1179.28 feet, an arc
length of 12.88 feet to a point~ thence Southerly along the West
right-of-way line of State Road ~5 (U.S.#i) a distance of 8.71
feet to a point~ thence Westerly and parallel to the North line
of Tropic Isle Trading Center plat, a distance of 105.29 feet to
a point~ thence Northerly at right angles to the preceding course,
a distance of 4.00 feet to a point~ thence Westerly and parllel'
=o the North line of Tropic Isle Trading Center plat, a distance
of 312.75 feet to a point~ thence Northerly at right angles to
the preceding course, a distance of 18.42 feet, more or less to
the Point of Beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on this the 9th day of
