A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE INSTALLATION ·
OF EXTENSION OF THE PRESENT CART PATH SYSTEM AT THE
DELRAY BEACH COUNTRY CLUB.
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager that the
City Council award a contract for the installation of extension of the
present cart path system at the Delray Beach Country Club; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received as follows:
BIDDER A/4OUNT
Hardrives, Inc. 2,130 lineal ft at $6.70/lineal ft
Delray Beach, Florida $14.,271.00
Carr Soil & Sod Driveways 1,915 lineal ft at $7.98/lineal ft
Delray Beach, Florida $15,280.00
and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that it is in the
best interests of the City to award this contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a contract be awarded for installation of ex-
tension of the present cart path system to the low bidder, Hardrives,
Inc., in an amount not to exceed $14,271.00.
Section 2. That the funding for this contract is to come from
the 1978 Utility Tax Revenue Bond Issue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on this the 10th day of
March , 1981.
