A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF APPROXIMATELY 7,400 FEET OF
24-INCH WATER MAIN IN THE VICINITY OF LOWSON BLVD.
(S.W. 10th STREET).
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager, that i
would be in the best interest of the City, that the City Council award a
contract for the installation of a 24" water main extension from the Water
Treatment Plant to 1-95, generally following Lowson Blvd. (S.W. 10th St.);
and,
WHEREAS, the City has received the following quotes:

the best interest of the City to award this contract to the low 5idder,
Vicon Construction Corporation,
NOW, THEREFORE,,~BE IT'RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a contract for the installation of approxi-
mately 7,400 feet of 24-inch water main in the vicinity of Lowson Blvd.
(S.W. 10th Street) be awarded to Vicon Construction Corporation, the low
bidder in the amount of $385,391.00.
Section 2. That the funding for this contract is to come
from the 1979 Water and Sewer Bond Issue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on this 24th day of
March, 1981.
