A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A CITY CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO 10 H.P. PUMPS TO REPLACE
THE EXISTING PUMP IN LIFT STATION 83.
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager that the City
Council award a contract for the purchase of two 10. H.P. pumps to replace
the existing pump at Lift Station ¢f83; and, i

WHEREAS, the request for quotations for these two pumps were
as follows:
Service Industrial Supply Co. $3,877.50
Ellis K. Phelps & Co. 4,500.00
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that it is in the
st interest of the City to award this contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That this contract be awarded to the low bidder, Service
Industrial Supply Co. in the amount of $3,877.50.
Section 2. That the funding for this contract is to come from funds
udgeted for this purpose, Account No. 416 -725.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on this the 12th day of
bruary, 1979.
