A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF
THE NORTH 15 FEET OF McCLEARY STREET, LYING SOUTH OF AND
ADJACENT TO AND WEST OF THE SOUTHERLY PROJECTION OF THE
EAST LINE OF LOT 1 OF TROPIC ISLE, SECTION 1, ACCORDING
TO THE PLAT THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 32, PAGE
70, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA,
LOCATED IN SECTION 28, TO~SHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST.
~EREAS, Knight Enterprises, Inc., is the fee-simple owner of a
portion of Tract No. 2, REVISED PLAT PORTIONS OF SECTIONS 28 and 29,
Township 46 South, Range 43 East, according to the plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 18, Page 53 of the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida; and,
¥~EREAS, Robert D. Chapin, as agent for Knight Enterprises, Inc.,
has made application for abandonment of the north 15 feet of a portion of
McCleary Street located in the Tropic Isle Subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Delay Beach to vacate
and abandon said north 15 feet of a portion of McCleary Street,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That pursuant to Chapter 166, Florida Statutes, it is
hereby determined to vacate and abandon the following described real
property: ·
All that portion of the north 15 feet of McCleary Street
lying south of and adjacent to and west of the southerly
projection of the east line of Lot 1 of Tropic Isle,
Section 1, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in
Plat Book 32, Page 70, of the Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on this the 10th day of
December, 1979.
