A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE COMPLETION OF THE
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IN THE SUDAN SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, the sanitary sewer system located in the Sudan Subdivision
was started by the developers, R.G.M. Builders, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the developer RoG.M. Builders, Inc., went bankrupt and said
obligation of the builder was taken over by the Mortgage Company, Stockton,
Whatley and Davin; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Utility Director has negotiated with Stockton,
Whatley and Davin for the completion of the aforementioned sanitary sewer
system, and,
WHEREAS, Stockton, Whatley and Davin has deposited with the City the
sum of $17,421. as their share of the funds required to complete the Sudan
sanitary sewer system and together with the City's share of $5,400., suffi-
cient funds are now available to complete the project; and,
WHEREAS bids have been taken for the completion of this project as
follows:
Onontario of Palm Beach, Inc., $19,200.
Riviera Beach, Fl.
Atlantic Underground Construction 19,500.
Boynton Beach, Fl.,
Harvel of Deland 20,450.
Delray Beach
Lyons Construction Co. 21,100.
Pompano Beach and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to complete this
project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRA¥ BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the completion of the Sudan Subdivision sanitary sew-
er system be approved and that a contract be awarded to the low bidder,
Onontario of Palm Beach, Inc., in the amount of $19,200.
Section 2. That upon completion of the Sudan Subdivision sanitary
sewer system and certification by the Engineer of Record, A. V. Strock and
Assoc., that this system be accepted into the City sanitary sewer system.
Section 3. That the funding for the completion of this project come
from funds deposited by Stockton, ~atley and Davin in the mount of
$17,421., and from funds obligated by the City in the amount of $5,400.
