RESOLUTION NO. 100-78
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR THE INSTALLA~
TION OF A SECURITY FENCE AROUND THE CITY GARAGE ANNEX.
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager.that the award
of a contract for the installation of a security fence around the City Garage
Annex should be made; and,
WHEREAS, bids have been received for the materia'l and installation o~
520 feet of security fencing as follows:
Mario Aurecchio Fence Div., Inc., $1,410.00
Plantation· Florida
Budget Fence Co., Inc., 1,675.80
West Palm Beach, Florida
Southern Fence Co. 1,710.00
Boca Raton, Florida
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that the award of
this contract would be in the best interest of the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a contract to supply the material and install a
security fence around the City Garage Annex, be awarded to the low bidder,
Mario Aurecchio Fence Div., Inc., of Plantation, Florida, in the amount of
$1,410.00.
Section 2. The funding for this contract shall come from the
General Fund Contingency Account.
