Res 62-76 · RESOLUTION NO. 62-76 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT TRUST FUND GRANT AN EASE- MENT FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY TO THE CITY TO DREDGE ON STATE- OWNED LANDS (SUBMERGED) PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF BEACH NOURISHMENT OPERATION. WHEREAS, it is desirable-and necessary to maintain beach nourish- ment at Delray Beach; and, ~ WHEREAS, prior to the commencement of beach nourishment operation, the City of Delray Beach must, by resolution, request an easement for right-of-way to dredge on state-owned lands (submerged), __ . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City of Delray Beach requests of the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund, the title holders of state land, that an easement be granted by the State of Florida to the City of Delray Beach to dredge the following submerged state,owned land for purpose of beach maintenance nourishment: A parcel of submerged land lying in Palm Beach County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at point in the Atlantic Ocean having for its coordinates Y = 766,919.91 and X = 809,839.63 in the Florida State Plane coordinate system (east zone), thence run N 08°10'00"E 7118.46 feet to a point; thence run S 81°50'00"E 800.00 feet to a point; thence run S 08°10'00"W 7118.46 to a point; thence run N 81°50'00"W 800.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
