Res 15-72 RESOLUTION NO. 15-72 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUIRING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF STORM DRAINAGE AS SHOWN ON PLANS MARKED "STORM DRAINAGE - SOUTHWEST AREA, PROJECT NO. 5964-9a", TOGETHER WITH THE INSTALLATION OF INLETS, MAN-HOLES AND APPURTENANCES IN CONJUNCTION WITH SUCH STORM DRAINS. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, as follows: 1. That the City Manager shall secure plans, specifica- tions and estimate of cost foe the construction of Storm Drainage as shown on plans marked "Storm Drainage - Southwest Area, Project No. 5964-9a", together with the installation of Inlets, Man-Holes and Appurtenances in conjunction with such Storm Drainage to drain an area to be determined as the Drain Field Area and lying within that section of land described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of State Road 806 (Atlantic Avenue) south right of way line with the east right of way line of Interstate-95 (formerly State Road 9), at point lying within the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 17, Township 46 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida; thence southerly, along the said east right of way line of Interstate-95, a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point o~ the east right of way of said Interstate-95, said point being the point of beginning of the parcel to be herein described: From the point of beginning, thence easterly to the southwest corner of Lot 11, Block 3 of Odmanns S/D, thence easterly along the south prop~ erty lines of Lots 1 through 11, said Block 3, continuing eastward to and along the south property line of Lots 1 through 11, Block 4 of Odmanns S/D, to the southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 47 thence north by northeasterly to a point on the center line of Southwest 13 Avenue, a distance of 50 feet, more or less, south of the south right of way line of State Road 806; thence east-southeasterly to the southeast corner of Lot 11, Block 2 of Atlantic Park Gardens S/D, thence easterly to the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 5 of said Atlantic Park Gardens S/D; thence east by northeasterly to a point on the center line of Southwest 11 Ave., a distance of 30 feet, more or less, south of the south right of way line of State Road 806; thence easterly and parallel to said south right of way line of State Road 806 crossing Lots 1 through 11 of Block 8 of Atlantic Gardens S/D to a point on the center line of Southwest 10 Avenue, a distance of 30 feet, more or less, south of the south right of way line of State Road 806; thence southerly along the center line of Southwest 10 Avenue, a distance of 40 feet, more or less, to a point on the center line of Southwest 10 Avenue; thence east-northeasterly crossing Lots 1, 2, 3 and 5 of Block 1, Belair Heights S/D, to the northeast corner of Lot 5, being the common corner of Lots 5 and 6, Block 1, Belair Heights; thence easterly along the south right of way line of State Road 806 to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 5, original Town of Linton, Florida; thence southerly along the west property line of said Lot 1, Block 5, a distance of 40 feet, more or less, thence easterly, parallel to -1- the south right of way line of State Road 806, crossing through Lots 1 through 11 of said Block 5 to a point on the east property line of said Lot 11, which is the west right of way line of South- west 7 Avenue; thence northly, a distance of 40 feet, more or less, to the south right of way line of State Road 806; thence easterly along said south right of way line of State Road 806 to a point 140 feet east of the east right of way line of Southwest 6 Avenue, said point being on the north line of Block 21 of the plat of the original Town of Linton, Florida, thence east-southeasterly to a point on the center line of Southwest 5 Avenue, a distance of §0 feet, more or less, south of the south right of way line of State Road 806; thence northeasterly to the southwest corner of Lot 10, Block 61, Town of Linton, which corner is the intersection of the north right of way line of Southwest 1 Street and the west right of way line of Southwest 1 Avenue; thence northeasterly across Block 61 to the Northeast corner of Lot 11, of said Block 61; thence easterly to the center line of Swinton Avenue; thence northerly along said center line of Swinton Avenue, crossing the right of way of State Road 806 to a point 173 feet north of the center line of State Road 806; thence easterly crossing the public school property to the north lot line of Lots 13 through 18, Block 76, Town of Linton, thence continuing easterly along the north p~perty lines of Lots 8 through 11, Block 84, Town of Linton; continuing easterly across the right of way of the Florida East Coast Railway to and along the north lot line of Lots 1 through 7, Block 92 and Lots 1 through 6, Block 100, both of the Town of Linton, continuing easterly to the center line of Northeast 5 Avenue; thence southerly along said center line of Northeast 5 Avenue, crossing the right of way of State Road 806 to a point 140 feet, more or less, south of the south right of way of State Road 806; thence southwesterly to the west right of way line of Southeast 5 Avenue at the Northeast corner of Lot 14, Block 101, Town of Linton; thence southwesterly diagonally across said Block 101 to the Southwest corner of Lot 13 of said Block 101; thence southerly along the east right of way of Southeast 4 Avenue to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 102, Town of Linton; thence south-southeasterly to a point on the south property line of Lot 3 of said Block 102, a distance of 67.5 feet, more or less, east of the southwest corner of said Lot 3; thence southerly, crossing Lots 4 through 10 to the midpoint of the south line of Lot 10, which is the north right of way of Southeast 2 Street, a distance of 67.5 feet, more or less, east of the southwest corner of said Lot 10; thence southeasterly crossing the right of way of Southeast 2 Street to a point on the center line of the alley dividing Block 103 in the north-south direction, said point being on the south right of way of Northeast 2 Street; thence southerly along the center line of said alley to its intersection with the north right of way line of Southeast 3 Street; thence southerly to the south right of way of Southeast 3 Street at its point of inter- section with the west right of way line of the alley dividing -2- Block 104, said Town of Linton in a north-south direction, said point being the northeast corner of Lot 24 of said Block 104; thence southwesterly to the southwest corner of said Lot 24 on the east right of way of Southeast 4 Avenue; thence westerly across the right of way of Southeast 4 Avenue to and along the south property line of Lots 13 and 1 of Block 96 and Lots 13 and 1 of Block 88, said blocks of Osceola Park S/D, continuing westerly to and across the right of way of Southeast 2 Avenue and westerly to the center line of the Florida East Coast Railway; thence southerly along the said center line of the Florida East Coast Railway to a point 180 feet, more or less, south of the south right of way line of Southwest 4 Street; thence westerly across the remaining right of way of the Florida East Coast Railway and continuing westerly to the center line of Swinton Avenue, said line being also the common section line between Sections 20 and 21, Township 46 South, Range 43 East; thence northerly along said common section line a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence west-northwesterly a distance of 638 feet, more or less, to a point on the east right of way of the extension of Southwest 2 Avenue, a distance of 85 feet, more or less, south of the center line of Southwest 4 Street, said center line being the common section line between Sections 17 and 20, Township 46 South, Range 43 East; thence southwesterly to a point on the projected center line of Southwest 3 Avenue, a dis- tance of 425 feet, more or less, south of the center line of said Southwest 4 Street; thence westerly a distance of 650 feet, more or less, to and along the north property line of Lots 1 and 2 of Sunnyside Park S/D, to the northwest corner of said Lot 1, Sunny- side Park; thence west-northwesterly to the southwest corner of an unnumbered tract, said corner being 208 feet west of the west boundary of the Sundy and Tenbrook addition, and on the extension of the south property line of said Sundy and Tenbrook addition; thence north-northwesterly to the intersection of the west right of way of Southwest 6 Avenue with the north right of way line of Southwest 4 Street, said intersection being the southeast corner of Block 16, Town of Linton; thence west-northwesterly to a point on the west right of way line of Southwest 7 Avenue, a distance of 60 feet, more or less, north of the north right of way line of Southwest 4 Street, said point being on the east line of Lot 30, Block 8, Town of Linton; thence west-southwesterly to the quarter section point on the common section line between Sections 17 and 20, Township 46 South, Range 43 East; thence south a distance of 30 feet along the quarter section line of said Section 20; thence west, parallel to and 30 feet south of the north section line of said Section 20, a distance of 1374 feet, more or less; thence north a distance of 362 feet, more or less, along the projected center line of Southwest 12 Avenue; thence west-northwesterly to a point on the projected center line of Southwest 14 Avenue, a distance of 120 feet south of the center line of Southwest 3 Street; thence northerly a distance of 120 feet, along the said projected center line of South- west 14 Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Southwest 3 Street; thence westerly along said center line of Southwest 3 Street to its projected intersection with the east right of way line of Interstate Highway-95 (formerly State Road 9); thence northeasterly and northerly along said east right of way of said Interstate High- way-95 to the point of beginning. -3- 2.
