Res 45-65 RESOLUTION NO. 45-65. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, REOUESTING THAT STATE ROAD ? BE EXTENDED NORTH FROM ITS PRE- SENT DEAD END INTERSECTION WITH OKEECHOBEE ROAD SO AS TO CONNECT WITH THE BEE LINE HIGH- WAY (STATE ROAD 710) AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the City COuncil of the City of Delray Beach hereby requests the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County and the State Road Department of the State of Florida and all other responsible agencies to extend State Road 7 from its present dead end intersection with Okeechobee Road northward so as to connect with the Bee Line Highway (State Road 710) and that this project be expedited at the earliest possible time due to the great public need for the extension of this road. SECTION II. That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to furnish certified copies of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, and to the State Road Department of the State of Florida. ADOPTED this 27th day of September, 1965.
