SUCH A~TE~ A~ LE~ING ~E COST 0F SUCH A~TE~ 0F SAID NUISANCES, AND DEC'RING SAID ~ TO BE A L~N UPON SAID PR0~RTY IN AN AMO~T AS SHOWN BY ~PORT 0F T~ CITY ~NAGER 0F DEL~Y BEACH, FLORIDA. ~~S. the City Council of the gity of Delta2 Beach, did, in .~v~ar ~//~//// session held on the 23rd of A9gus~ and 13t~ and 27th of September, 1965 declare the existence of a nui- sance h~'o5 ~'ertal4 10ts--or parcels ~f land, described in a list sub- mitted to them, for violation of the provisions of Ordinance G-l~7; ~~S, pursu~ ~o such declaration, the City Clerk of said City did f~nish each of the respective owners of the lands described in said list with a no,ice describing the nat~e of the nuisance and ~hat they must abate said nuisance within thirty (30) days, failing in which the City Council would have it done, ~d the cost ~hereof would be levied as an assessment against said proper~y; and ~E~S, the o~ers hereinafter named did fail and neglect to abate the nuisance e~sting upon ~heir respective lands within the time prescribed in said notice and Ordinance G-~7, and ~he City of Delray Beach was required t6 and did enter upon ~he following lands and incur costs in abatin~ ~he nuisance existing thereon as described in'the aforesaid list; and ~AS, the City M~ager of the City of Delray Beach, has, pur- suant to said Ordinance G~-~7 and the City Charter submitted to the City Council a report of the costs incurred in abating the nuisance as aforesaid, said report indicating the costs per parcel of land involved, NOW, T~R~O~, BE IT ~SOLVED BY THE CITY CO~CIL 0F T~ CITY OF DEL~Y B~CH, FLOR~A, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That assessments in the individual ~ounts as shown by the report of the City M~ager of the City of Delray Beach, involving the City's cost of abating the af~esaid nuisances upon the lots or par- cels of l~d described in said report, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are levied against ~he p~cels of land described on said report and in the amounts indicated thereon. Said assessments so levied shall be a lien upon tho respectivo lo~s and parcels of land described in said report, of ~he same nature and to the same exten~ as the lien for general city ~axes and shall be collectible in the s~e maker and with the s~e penalties and under the same provisions as to sale and foreclosure as city ~axes are collectible. 2. That the City Clerk of said City shall, as soon as possible ~ter the effective date, record a certified copy of this resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, and shall furnish to each of the owners n~ed in and upon said report a notice that the City Counci~ of the City of Delray Beach, did, on the 23rd cE Au~st and 13th ant 27th o~ September, 1965 order the abatement"O~ a certain nu~"s~e 'exlsti~g' on'th'elf des~ribed property and property o~er having failed to abate such nuisance, within the 30 day period, whereupon it was abated by the City at costs sho~ in said report and such assessments shall be legal, valid and binding obligations upon the property against which said assessments are levied. This resolution shall become effective 30 days from the date of adoption, and the assessments contained herein shall become due and payable thirty days after the mailing date of the notice of said assessment, after which interest shall accrue at the rate of 6% per a~ on any unpaid portion: Shereof.
