A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY

T~ CITY ~GER OF DE~Y B~CH, F~RIDA.
~S, the City Council of the City of Del~ay Beach, did, in
regular ~d/~ session held on the lhth o~_August, !961 and
l~tn or ~'eb~ary, 1962 declare the existence of a ~ui-
s~ce upon ~ertal~ l~t's' o~ Par~el~ 'of l~d, described in a list sub-
~tted to them, for violation of the provisions of Ordinance G-~7;
~~S, pursuit to such declaration, the City 01erk of said
City did f~nish each of the respective ~ers of the lands described
in said list with a notice describing the nat~e of the nuis~e and
that they ~st abate said nuis~ce wi~in thirty (30) days, failing
in which the City Oouncil would have it done, ~d the cost thereof
would be levied as an assessment against said p~oper~y; and
EELS, the o~ers herein~ter n~ed did fail and neglect
abate the nuisance e~sting upon their respective lands within the
time prescribed in said notice and 0~din~ce G-~7, ~d the City of~
Delmay Beach was required to and did ente~ upon the following lands
and incur costs in abating the nuisance existing thereon as described
in'the aforesaid list; ~d
E~S, the 0ity M~ager of the City of Delray Beach, has, pur-
suit to said Ordinance G~-~7 ~d the City Ch~ter submitted to the
City Council a report of t~ costs incited in abating the nuisance
as aforesaid, said report indicating the costs per parcel of land
involved,
NOW, TE~0E, BE IT ~SOLED BY THE CI~ O0~CIL 0F TE CITY

1. That assessments in t~ individual ~ounts as sho~ by the
report of the City M~ager of ~e 0it2 of Delray Beach, involvi~ the
City,s cost of abating the aforesaid nuis~es upon the lots or par-
oels of land described ~ said ~eport, a copy of which is attached
hereto and ~de a p~ hereof, ~e levied against the p~cels of land
described on said report and in the ~o~ts indicated thereon. Said
assessments so levied shall be a lien upon tho respective
lots and parcels of land described in said report, of ~e sa~e
nature and to the s~e extent as the lien for general city taxes and
~hall be collectible in the s~e maker and with the s~e penalties
and ~der the s~e provisions as to sale ~d foreclosure as city taxes
~e collectible.
2. That the Ci~ Clerk of said City shall, as soon as possible
~ter the effective date, record a certified cop2 of this resolution
in the office of the C~erk of the Ci~uit Co~t in and for Palm Beach
County, Florida, ~d shall fu~ish to each of the o~ers n~ed in and
upon said report a notice that the Oi~ 0ouncil of the City of Delray
'~each, did, on the lhth of August, 1961 and 12th of F~bruary. _1962
order the abatement o~ a certain nuls~oe eYl'~%ih~ o~' ~H6ir described
property ~d property o~er having failed to abate such nuisance,
within the 30 day period, whereupon it was abated by the City at costs
sho~ in said report and such assessments shall be legal, valid and
binding obligations upon the property against which said assessments
are levied. This resolution shall become effective 30 days from the
date of adoption, ~d the assessments contained herein shall become
due ~d payable thirty days ~ter the maili~ date of the notice of
said assessment,.~te~, w~ interest shall accrue at the rate of
